The Epic Reporting Lead will serve as a critical member of the Informatics - Analytics Department and Information Systems- Epic Operations Department at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This role will support many administrative and executive projects and reports related to Epic Reporting across the Institute that drive business, operations, finance, clinical, quality and performance in oncology care under the direction of the Clinical Analytics Lead and Senior Manager Epic Operations. The COBA Lead will interact with different executive stakeholders, data trustees and data stewards within those areas to ensure proper representation and materialization of their area’s Epic reporting needs. This is a hands-on position that requires a technical and functional understanding of healthcare analytics and Epic as well as a strong understanding of DFCI’s core business functions. This position will be responsible from the usability of the Epic reporting for each of the aforementioned areas granting consistency within the reporting efforts at the Institute and with Partners eCare. This position shall coordinate the work with multidisciplinary clinical, administrative and finance teams on specific Epic reporting needs, serving as a primary resource for the collection of specifications, prioritization, analysis, and interpretation of data. The Lead will align with COBA and Epic Operations teams to design an effective and efficient reporting platform between DFCI Data Warehouse, COBA and Epic. The Lead will work on identifying, evaluating, analyzing, and recommending changes in support of Epic reporting, including ongoing production maintenance and troubleshooting.
