Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking applications for a Program Nurse who will be a key member of a fast developing program delivering immune effector cell therapies, including CAR T and other novel cell therapies. The Program Nurse will triage new patients and respond to local, national and international inquiries about the therapies offered at Dana-Farber, both standard of care and clinical trials. The Program Nurse will work closely with clinicians and support staff in Dana-Farber's cell therapy coordination and care delivery system, which includes close collaboration with colleagues at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
The Program Nurse is responsible for routine nursing aspects of the program, which include clinical care, patient education, monitoring, and follow-up of patients. He/she acts as a liaison between the various areas of patient care to ensure continuity. Specific responsibilities may vary across the different programs or disease centers. The Mission, Vision and Core values of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute are incorporated into all areas of practice.
