Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to join the Research Computing team. The Linux Systems Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization (RHEV) environment and ZFS Fileserver management for various laboratories throughout the Institute.
The Research Computing team at Dana-Farber consists of passionate collaborators with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The group currently maintains two High Performance Computing (HPC) clusters along with associated software module systems to provide ongoing support to Dana-Farber’s physicians, researchers and most importantly, our patients. The Linux Systems Administrator will be responsible for a multiple platform, protocol and operating system environment. Responsible for maintaining server and storage hardware and software. Will monitor to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
