  • Overview

    The Dhe-Paganon Lab and Longwood Center for Structural & Chemical Biology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a research technician to join the scientific team. This individual will collaborate with other scientists and cross-functional team members in order to advance mechanism and drug discovery projects. They will work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary research team to design & execute experiments and analyze & interpret results for ongoing chemical and structural biology research. Primary responsibilities include performing recombinant protein expressions and purifications and/or invitro biophysical, biochemical, and crystallization assays and screens.

    • Execute protein purifications and/or biochemical, biophysical, and crystallographic assays and screens



    • BA/MS degree in biochemistry, biology, chemical biology, or equivalent
    • Experience in protein purification and/or developing and performing in-vitro assays is a plus
    • Exceptional communication skills, and ability to effectively present data within the laboratory and to collaborators
    • Adept at working within cross-functional scientific teams to deliver project data within timelines
    • At least two years of availability required
