The individual will play an important role in the Accounting and Finance functions of the Belfer Office for Dana-Farber Innovations (BODFI). The individual will primarily interface with the Sr. Manager of Finance and Operations and BODFI’s Sr. Technology Transfer Accountant, in addition to other BODFI Operations and Licensing staff. His/her duties will include general accounting functions involving preparation, analysis, reconciliation, interpretation, and maintenance of financial information in BODFI’s current database. This individual will also assist in the implementation of new or modified accounting systems, and in the coordination and preparation of reports and audits for BODFI Finance.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
Minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience, preferably in the health care or academic research environment.
