The Molecular Cancer Imaging Facility (MCIF) at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute provides international leadership in the discovery and development of new molecular imaging probes. The MCIF facility is adjacent to the Lurie Family Imaging Center which allows us to test and use these novel probes in virtually any clinically relevant cancer model or current imaging modality in longitudinal treatment studies. This work can then be translated to clinic to allow physicians to better diagnose and characterize cancer, choose targeted therapies, monitor treatment efficacy, and improve the outcomes of adult and pediatric patients with cancer.
The Dana-Farber’s Molecular Cancer Imaging Facility (MCIF) is seeking outstanding applicants for a
Senior Research Technician position that will support MCIF’s radiopharmaceutical drug discovery GMP operations. The technician will work in a team setting, take direction from the Facility Manager and will be involved in activities that support MCIF GMP operations for translation and evaluation of novel imaging and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals. The Senior Research Technician will perform hands-on, operational related duties to assist in the implementation and maintenance of a compliant Quality System.
This position will typically occupy day shift hours (8:00am-4:30pm) however, at times the Senior Research Technician will be required to start a shift as early as 4:00 am a few times a week (advanced notice would be given).
