Reporting to both the Clinical/Disease Center Physician Leader and the Director of Disease Center Operations, the Administrative Director of Disease Center Operations works in close alignment with the Vice President of Ambulatory Care Operations. The Administrative Director is responsible for ensuring all clinical and business operations are exceptionally and seamlessly managed. Serving as the liaison for both Institute and Departmental issues, the Administrative Director is tasked with developing and implementing strategic plan and clinical growth initiatives. The Administrative Director will provide fiscal and human resources management and programmatic oversight in support of research and operational missions within the Clinical/Disease Center.
This role is part of the Lank Center for Genitourinary Oncology, a multidisciplinary and multi-specialty care and treatment center staffed by medical, radiation, and urologic oncologists. Our physician and nursing team are experts in treating patients with prostate, renal, bladder and testis tumors. Laboratory discoveries are brought to the bedside by physician/scientists who carry knowledge gained from their patients back into their work at the laboratory. The Lank Center for Genitourinary Oncology is a clinical nexus for translational research - a place where discovery is transformed into more effective diagnostics as well as safer and more effective treatments.
Anticipated start date for this role is December 2019.
