    Post-doctoral position available in the laboratory of Dr. Geoffrey Shapiro at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School.   The fellow will engage in studies of CDK4/6 biology and CDK4/6 inhibitor resistance in cell line and in vivo models of breast and non-small cell lung cancer.  Responsible for the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments, preparation of scientific presentations and publications, interactions with collaborators, as well as supervision of technicians or students as needed.  Ph.Ds or M.D./Ph.Ds with a solid background in cell cycle biology and an interest in translational research are encouraged to apply. Only candidates with demonstrated ability for completing complex research projects during their Ph.D and significant experience in standard laboratory techniques (including flow cytometry, tissue culture, PCR, western blots, etc.) will be considered.  Experience with CRISPR and/or drug sensitivity screens, as well as work in animal models, will be helpful.  Please submit CV, a letter of interest and a list of three references.
