The Pharmacy Application Specialist will support and participate in pharmacy computer application projects and initiatives. The Specialist will work collaboratively with the pharmacy Information Systems team. This position will support various aspects of the pharmacy computer applications including selection, implementation and ongoing maintenance. The Specialist will also provide support initial and ongoing user support.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related field experience required
Clinical background in pharmacy or health care field required
Two years of IS experience required
Experience in pharmacy applications preferred
Well organized & systematic in work process
Excellent personal computer skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively and interact with colleagues from various organizational levels and from various disciplines
Excellent written and verbal skills
