  • Overview

    The Digital Marketing Analyst will inform and help drive key marketing and communication decisions within Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a world-renowned leader in cancer research and treatment.  The Analyst will provide key insights into which digital channels and tactics are supporting new patient acquisition strategies, as well as contributing to Dana-Farber’s growing national reputation and visibility.  Lastly, this role will work closely with the digital marketing team leaders to build the business intelligence infrastructure to help direct specific clinical content and marketing efforts.

    Responsibilities

    • Understanding business needs, researching and analyzing data to develop or refine strategies to advance Institute priorities
    • Tracking, measuring, monitoring digital site behavior and engagement across Dana-Farber’s owned operated sites and Farber’s social accounts
    • Creating custom databases and data structures to support behavioral analysis and marketing activities
    • SEO/SEM Management and Reporting
    • Providing insights and analysis on user trends
    • Acting as go-to source for day-to-day digital analytics questions and requests from across the institute
    • Reports to and supports Senior Analyst

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years’ experience
    • Experience using and implementing site analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe, or similar)
    • Experience with designing/building relational databases - tables, views, stored procedures
    • MSSQL + T-SQL: structured query language and optimization
    • Experience managing SEO/SEM
    • Experience analyzing social behavior and trends using industry tools (Sprinklr, TrackMaven, or similar)
    • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
    • Ability to think strategically and take initiative
    • Willing to take on new projects that may fall outside of the above responsibilities as needed
    • High attention to detail and focus on quality
    • Proficient MS Excel
    • BA/BS Required
    • Prefer knowledge of data visualization best practices
    • Prefer candidates with knowledge of Google UTM tracking and Google Tag Manager functionality
    • Prefer candidates with experience with data visualization tools (Google data studio, tableau, etc.)
    • Prefer candidates with email marketing knowledge
    • Health-related experience a plus
    • Experience with Cloud-based data storage a plus
