  • Overview

Located in Boston and the surrounding communities, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute brings together world renowned clinicians, innovative researchers and dedicated professionals, allies in the common mission of conquering cancer, HIV/AIDS and related diseases. Combining extremely talented people with the best technologies in a genuinely positive environment, we provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients of all ages; we conduct research that advances treatment; we educate tomorrow's physician/researchers; we reach out to underserved members of our community; and we work with amazing partners, including other Harvard Medical School-affiliated hospitals.

Join Meromit Singer’s group to advance our knowledge of the immune system’s regulatory role in cancer and autoimmunity!

We are seeking talented, innovative and enthusiastic individuals to join us in our mission to unravel immune regulation and potential in disease via computational and experimental techniques. Our work involves the development and application of computational machine learning frameworks to high-throughput datasets generated in our lab (e.g. single-cell transcriptomics), followed by experimental validations. We work on clinical samples and various mouse models, advancing basic immunology and improving clinical diagnostics and therapy design. We collaborate closely with mouse immunologists and clinical oncologists to generate rich datasets tailored to cutting-edge questions and for functional validations of our findings. Our main interest is in elucidating the immune system’s functional roles and dysregulation in cancer and autoimmune diseases.

Our lab is part of the new interdisciplinary Center for Information Biology (cBio Center) at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) and the Harvard Medical School (HMS). We are located within the Longwood campus in Boston.
