A lab manager is sought for a molecular immunology group. Requirements include excellent organizational and personnel skills to work with a diverse group of scientists doing basic and translational research relevant to tumor immunology. Duties include maintenance of lab space and equipment, submission of work orders, management of standing orders, distribution, cataloguing and storing of laboratory notebooks, monitoring and stocking of lab cell culture rooms and consumables. Monitoring satellite accumulation areas of chemical waste disposal, lab safety monitoring and compliance. 20-40 hrs per week. BS/BA or equivalent is required. .

This position is responsible for facilitating a faculty member's research program through management of the laboratory operations. Responsibility will include assistance with PI's administrative responsibilities in the laboratory; supervision of technical staff to manage and maintain good laboratory practice. This individual will report directly to the PI and work closely with PI's executive administrator and Research Science Manager and Department Administrator.
