    The Senior Project Manager will work collaboratively with the Process Improvement Director and team, on diverse improvement projects. He/she will contribute to oversight of the PI team project portfolio and work closely with PI team members to ensure completion and internal monitoring of project plans, timelines, and implementation of complex projects. 

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as the project manager to provide project management oversight for the PI team. This includes assisting team members in scoping projects; completing presentation slides; ensuring completion of project charters/planning documentation; monitoring progress; predicting challenges and troubleshooting as required.
    • Utilize standard project management tools and summary documents to track and communicate status of projects
    • Collect, organize, and summarize materials for presentations. Prepare project reports for internal and external audiences, including status updates and reports for leadership. Present project data, analyses, and updates to key stakeholder groups independently, as requested.
    • Support project management and process improvement training for staff as needed
    • Perform all other related duties as required.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree or healthcare experience preferred
    • Minimum four years of experience, preferably in a related project management position
    • Demonstrated project management skills and experience
    • Experience in managing and implementing change particularly in projects related to quality and process improvement
