    In addition, this role will be focused on the scheduling of product processing for the lab.  The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to recognize when to involve the lab directors and managers in order to maintain a stable level of processing for the lab.


    • Responsible for the communication between various groups and institutions for coordination of cellular product processing and release of products to nursing units.
    • Responsible for the planning and preparation of staff attendance at conferences/retreats. May also be responsible for coordinating departmental group meetings.
    • Prepares general correspondence, creates Excel spreadsheets, revises existing PowerPoint presentations and maintains biosketches and CVs.
    • May be responsible for the maintenance of licenses, credentialing and certifications.  
    • Prepares monthly expense reports, performs Pcard reconciliations, processes requests for vendor payments and creates invoices.

    • May be asked to be a representative in committees, cross-department responsibilities and/or task forces.
    • May be responsible for website maintenance as needed.
    • Coordinate moves, meetings assignments, equipment maintenance and timekeeping oversight
    • May assist in the training of new administrative support staff within the group. 



    Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience working in a medical or scientific research setting or comparable technology-oriented business environment is preferred. Demonstrated ability to draft correspondence and have exemplary oral and written communication skills. Advanced computer skills are required. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
