In collaboration with the Physician/Clinical Director/Nurse leaders of the Clinical Floor, the Practice Manager is responsible for overall daily operations of the clinical floor that support the delivery of care to oncology patients and families. This includes managing patient flow and scheduling, assuring reconciliation of appointments, facilitating billing processes, and for clinical administrative support staff orientation and performance. The Practice Manager actively participates in the Quality Assessment and Improvement Program. Collaborates with department leaders to assure compliance with DFCI policies, procedures, regulatory agency requirements and ensures safe, efficient and effective delivery of quality care. The Practice Manager will have a constant presence on the clinic floor. The Mission, Vision and Core Values of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute are incorporated into all areas of practice.
