The Project Manager II will be responsible for assisting the Program Manager of Clinical Quality Improvement in driving the implementation of Dana-Farber Clinical Pathways across the DFCI enterprise. The Department is responsible for the development, support and implementation of internal and system-wide programs (medical neighborhood) to improve communication and coordination between the different players in the system and create a platform to support the management of Oncology patients during the continuum of care.
The Clinical Quality Improvement Department aims to foster innovation and lead change in our current cancer care delivery model through new ways to provide care of patients that include clinical decision support, innovation, improved care coordination, team engagement, follow-up and communication among all different players and tying new payment methodologies to align incentives.
This position requires not only being familiarized with clinical care models, population management, treatment of oncology diagnoses, institutional structure, strategy planning and implementation, data analytics, IT infrastructure and development, and leveraging big data sources (clinical and administrative) to manage the oncology population.
