The Creative Director works with Assistant Vice President, Development Communications to manage fundraising brand development and set creative strategy for the Division’s marketing communication programs.

Responsible for assisting the entire Division with reaching annual fundraising goals in excess of $240 million.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reports to Assistant Vice President, Development Communications. Supervises two Assistant Art Directors, one Graphic Designer, one Junior Designer and Marketing Operations Team. This individual will work with a variety of individuals throughout the Institute.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent experience with seven to 10 years’ experience required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Superior graphic design, supervisory and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with a wide variety of personalities, are necessary. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide quality service to multiple Development and program offices are also necessary. Experience developing and implementing complex branding programs is required. Solid pre-press knowledge, typography skills, and organizational skills required. Solid Mac skills, including fluency in OS X, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Office software required. Experience in web design and production, including front-end coding for web and email, preferred. Experience with Blackbaud and/or Luminate preferred.
Office in typical office setting. A quiet workspace will be provided. Works on deadline. Some use of personal vehicle for business purposes may be required.
