This job family is responsible for a variety of tasks associated with each area of the Cell Manipulation Core Facility (CMCF). Primarily focused on environmental monitoring and assisting lab staff as needed by transporting samples, etc. All staff needs to perform and document daily assigned tasks during their shift, such as equipment maintenance. Additional assigned duties as assigned on a weekly basis are required to be completed by the end of the week.
Observes and complies with all safe work practices, wears protective clothing when required and reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
Complies with hospital and departmental policies, quality assurance programs, safety, and infection control policies and procedures.
Assist in the identification of products to be removed from inventory.
Assists other lab staff, as required.
Performs various quality control procedures on equipment. Reports unexpected findings to the appropriate supervisor.
Work within the cGMP and cGTP guidelines and adheres to all regulatory standards within the Cell Manipulation Core Facility
Other duties as assigned.
