The Jänne laboratory at Lowe Center for Thoracic Oncology (http://jannelab.org/) is searching for a motivated individual for an in vivo Research Technician position. The candidate will be part of project teams focused on identifying novel targets and therapies for cancer drug development. He/ She will contribute hands-on to the execution of both in vivo and ex vivo PD Biomarker studies in mouse models of cancer. The person would work in conjunction with our preclinical and clinical scientists to design and execute oncology related mouse studies using bioluminescence (BLI) imaging and conventional endpoints (e.g., caliper measurements, clinical scoring) to evaluate novel pre-clinical lung cancer therapies. The candidate must work well in a team, contribute to other studies as needed and must be able to understand and follow the Animal Resource Facilities standard operating procedures and DFCI institutional guidelines and policies.

Proficiency with in vivo databases, Graph Pad Prism and PowerPoint is desirable
